As a preventative measure people began watering their structures
Thursday afternoon.

On Rt 40 it is possible to see the smoke rising
from the park and also starting behind Big Mountain.
 
       
 
People watch as orange plumes
continue to rise and head for the
eastern side of the park.

Glacier National Park
 
       
 
On the road to the west entrance (Rt 2),
smoke rises from the three fires
within the park. Visible are the
Great Northern Resort and Mule
