So
what's it like to drive Going-to-the-Sun Road now?
We took the drive August 19, starting around 10 am. The
early hours were smoky, but as the day progressed the smoke
lifted and we could see to the far side of McDonald Lake.
The top of the road at Logan Pass was clear and beautiful.
People were hiking and picnicking, enjoying the breathtaking
views.
