Park landscape.

Before the fires of 2003 there was the Moose
fire of 2001. Which was started by a
lightning strike, and burned a span of 69,000
acres.

Inside a
wildfire Incident
Command Unit
The Robert Fire's Incident Command Post (ICP)
was stationed in Columbia Falls. We toured the
camp and were astonished by both the
organization of the personnel and services and
by the variety of facilities established
